Get In My Belly!

What goes in...must come out

On Sunday night, I had this strange urge to bake. So Jamie, Unjung and I baked pumpkin walnut cookies. Those came out pretty good. We had leftover pumpkin puree so we decided to make pumpkin bread. The recipe called for 1 teaspoon of salt but the amount that went into the mixture seemed like a lot. But seeing that it was already 1 am, I didn't want to argue with the recipe. Finally, after another hour, the bread was done so I tried a bit. It tasted really salty but I just thought maybe that little part didn't get mixed in well. The next morning I tried another piece but it was still salty. I asked Unjung and Jamie if they tried the bread and they said it was salty too. It turns out, that we accidentally used the wrong measuring spoon...we used the tablespoon instead of the teaspoon....ooops. If you want salty pumpkin bread let me know...it's all yours.

Monday, thanks to MLK, Jr. I had the day off! It was a great day...I woke up when my eyes opened, did whatever whenever...I wish everyday were like that. Too bad work has to get in the way. I think the mental pain of going back to work had physical side effects because I woke up this morning with chest pains...it hurts to take deep breaths. I vaguely remember dreaming that I had to hold my breath for a really long time...maybe that attributed to my aching chest.
