Last night I watched White Chicks and it was hilarious! You just have to get through the beginning and the rest is really funny. The funniest part of the scene is when the big black guy sings along to Michelle Branch's song, Thousand Miles. My stomach is still sore from laughing so hard.

My dad called me on my birthday and gave me 3 things to work on during the next year:
1. Act more ladylike (he said it another way but I don't wanna say because it's embarassing)
2. Get a boyfriend
3. Be healthy

So far, I'm not doing so well. I've had a sore throat for the past few days and this morning I woke up sounding like a man, which kinda makes Number 1 on the list a little more difficult. As for Number2...easier said than done. And Number 3...as long as I'm fully stocked on my meds, I'm good to go, hahaha.

Yesterday I almost ran into someone that I really really really didn't want to see. Once I spotted the person walking across the street towards me, I made a quick turn and walked across the intersection diagonally. Luckily there was a tall man walking the same direction as me so I used him as my shield. I think I was too close to him because he gave me this "get off of me, you freak" look. So I just gave him a courteous smile and ran away.

So this is what it feels like to be 24, huh? Not as bad as I thought but it just sounds a lot older than 23.

To kick off the new year, I decided to take the day off from work and go to Napa with Chris. Even though the weather was kinda gloomy it was still beautiful there. It's a good thing I drove because Chris was getting a little woozy after our first tasting so you could imagine what she was like after the 5th winery. After we came back from Napa, we went to the Scharffen Berger chocolate factory and took a tour. The tour itself wasn't all the exciting but the free chocolate was well worth it.

I wish I had more time off from work...the reality of being back and working a full week pains me.
