This weekend seemed really long for some reason...which is a good thing except coming back to work seems soooo much more painful.
I went to go watch The Notebook with Olivia on Saturday night. It's supposed to be a "touching love story" but it seemed more like a comedy to me. I felt kinda bad cuz everyone around me was crying, but Olivia and I were sitting there giggling and trying to contain our laughter. The movie just seemed so cheesey and a lot of the "romantic" things that Noah did for Ally was just...hmm...gross. Not sexually gross...just sanitary-wise gross. There were 2 particular scenes that just grossed me out and made me laugh really hard. If you're planning on watching the movie, you should stop reading here.

So in one scene, Noah takes Ally to a pond with hundreds of white ducks. I turned to Olivia and said, "Ducks carry so many diseases...yuck~" Plus I have an extreme aversion all kinds of birds and any animals that resemble birds.

In another scene, Noah told Ally he wanted to show her something and in the middle of the night, he takes her to this old run down house that seriously looks like a house straight from a horror movie. Mold and mildew growing everywhere...yuck.

All in all, I give this movie a thumbs down for unsantiary purposes.
