Now that I'm working in the city, I take casual carpool. If you don't know what casual carpool is, it's a free system where people who wanna drive into the city pick up extra people at a certain location to take the carpool lane in order to bypass traffic and the toll. It's kind of a strange thing...random strangers riding in a car together in complete silence...not a single word said to each other. Sometimes the driver turns on NPR and the other passengers read the newspaper. I get motion sick if I read in the car, so I just stare out the window and try not to fall asleep. But it's a great system...it's free and it gets me to the city fast =) So if you're working in the city, let's meet for lunch!
